Free Running Training Plans

Running is one of the cheapest forms of exercising and despite what many people think – it can be enjoyable!

Running is great for overall fitness and weight loss and if done sensibly it strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Active Training World provides free running training schedules for 5k running, 10k running, half marathon running and marathon running


5k Running

Our 5k running plans have been written by Double Olympian Helen Clitheroe. Helen has written three 5k training plans for beginners, intermediate and advanced level athletes.


10k Running

Our 10k running plans have been written by Double Olympian Helen Clitheroe. Helen has written three 10k training plans for beginners, intermediate and advanced level athletes.


Half Marathon Running

Our half marathon training plans have been written by Olympian Liz Yelling and Martin Yelling. They have written three half marathon training plans for beginners, intermediate and advanced level athletes.
