Women Only Cycling Masterclass

HowGoodCouldIBe

Women Only Cycling Masterclass Training Session

This session is organised by HowGoodCouldIBe

The six hour coached masterclass includes group riding skills, confidence building exercises and simulated races. All designed to help female riders become more confident and ready to take on the blossoming British women’s racing scene.

The session is suitable for any female riders that are intending to road /circuit race in the coming year

The course will be instructed by Leda Cox and Katie Colclough

The coaching will cater for a wide range of experience and abilities from beginner racer that has ridden the odd sportive or challenge ride, up to experienced national and international road racers.  This range is actually ideal for all due to the nature of UK women’s road racing which almost always has that range in every race.

There is always more for everyone to learn so why not learn from the girls who’ve been there and done it, having started from very much the grass roots.

Rest assured it will be as much fun as it is informative and useful.

We take our coaching and racing seriously but don’t worry; we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

Leda Cox was ranked the number one british rider. She turned pro in 2003 and she spent most of her career abroad racing for Dutch, Belgian, French, Italian and American teams. In an 8 year career which was cut short by a crash which forced her early retirement she went on to achieve:

  • 30 Wins including two stage races
  • 3 National Medals
  • British Number one ranked rider
  • 24 Great Britain Team Caps
  • Coupe De France Winner
  • Tour of Tucson Winner

She is also a massively experienced coach and mentor to many riders. Leda has recently started a 3 year degree course in  Physiotherapy at the St Georges, University of London.

Katie Colclough is a former pro cyclist, World Elite TTT Champion and National Junior Champion
