The Alton Ten - Sunday 11th May 2014

The Alton Ten 2014 is a venue for the Hampshire Road Race League


Transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director and will be on a same sex basis if allowed. Please contact the Race Director to request a transfer.

Organised by the Alton Runners and Alton Lions, this is the 31st Running of the Alton Ten. This Year’s Race will be started by the Mayor. The first mile is through Holybourne village and the race then runs through a circuit of undulating countryside and picturesque Hampshire village lanes to finish back at the Eggars School a few yards from the start.

Sponsored by the Alton Sports, Alton Sports Centre, run by DC Leisure and Holybourne Garage, suppliers of Suzuki cars.

All profits from the race will go to Alton Lions Charitable Fund


Trophies and/or medals will be presented to the first three runners in each of the following categories:

Lady Vets 35+ Male Vets 40+
Lady Vets 45+ Male Vets 50+
Lady Vets 55+ Male Vets 60+





And to the first in the following

Lady Vet 60+ Male Vet 65+
Lady Vet 65+ Male Vet 70+

There will also be a special award to the runner who tops the World Standard Performance Results. Coors Brewery has generously donated this award.
