Two distances are available for this event - 67km Emit Lite or 100km Emitremmus. This is the booking page for the 100km distance. Click here for the 67km
Both routes start and finish on the same roads but the middle follows different routes. This event is not a race or trial of speed. You must follow the rules of the road and show consideration for other road users. The route is on open public roads, is not way-marked or marshalled, the organiser provides no rescue service. Familiarise yourself with the route and note that some routes may be arduous. We suggest carrying lights at all time but they will be required if there is a possibility of still riding in the evening or if the weather is inclement.
The maximum average speed for this ride is 25km/h and the minimum average speed is 12.5km/h which must be adhered to that are indicated in the relevant ride information. Full mudguards are optional but other riders will appreciate you using them

Riders should be at the event HQ (Costello’s Café) by 09:30am. You will need to collect your brevet (check point) cards at HQ before the start. Please do not start Emitremmus before 10:00am and Emit Lite before 10:30am.

Undulating on public roads
Refreshments will be available to purchase at or near the controls in Hare Street, Saffron Walden, Therfield and at Costello’s Café (start and finish)
Entrants under 16 years of age should bring and ride with a responsible adult.
A £1 online service fee will be added to all transactions
