How did you first become in interested in triathlon?
When I went to Loughborough University to study Fine art, I started triathlon for fun, aged 21.
What is your best performance to date?
Just 18 months into the sport I got 4th at the world U23s and 10th at the Beijing Olympic test event (2006).
What is your most important training session?
Hard run sessions, above race pace, 9ks worth
What is the most impressive/craziest training session you have ever known somebody complete?
I know somebody who told me she did 4hrs plus in one go on the x trainer when she was injured!
What are your goals for the next 12 months?
To become the best triathlete I can possibly be, staying consistent and injury free.
What is the most memorable athletics event you have ever watched?
In terms of triathlon, in Lausanne Worlds 2006, watching Tim (Don) , Will (Clarke), and Alastair (Brownlee) win was a pretty special atmosphere.
Which athlete do you most admire?
Where is your favourite venue that you have competed at?
There has been loads that I have loved, places with culture and history...Madrid is great for its art!
