This beginner 10K training plan is aimed at people who want to complete a 10K for the first time and are looking for a training plan to give them guidance for the correct training sessions.
In order to complete the beginner 10K training plan athletes should be capable of training 4 days a week.
Change the days to fit your lifestyle if preferred but always ensure a balanced training week
The Beginner 10K training plan was written by Helen Clitheroe
Helen Clitheroe is a middle and long distance runner representing Great Britain. She has competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the 1500m and 3000m steeplechase in 2008.
Her best achievement to date was when she won the bronze at the 2002 Commonwealth Games for 1500m.
